NAMI Award
The National Alliance for the Mentally III's South Carolina chapter honored Harris Hospital in October 2004 as Psychiatric Hospital of the Year. This award is special to the hospital because the chapter only gives the award in years where a particular institution stands out, Executive Director David Almeida said. "What we see with Patrick B. Harris Hospital and Director John Fletcher has a real willingness and understanding that families are a vital part of the treatment program."
